Mono Consultants Staff and Client Day

PB Events were invited to run the Mono Consultants’ Partner Conference. This was a unique challenge because part of the conference was to be a practical demonstration of the kinds of tasks and jobs that Mono does for their clients. These can include working in the bleakest and remotest areas across the country repairing masts damaged in bad weather. Moreover, they wanted to be able to take clients out in a variety of vehicles including an eight track used to cross the countryside. As part of the entertainment Mono wanted to offer their clients a passenger seat in a rally car driven by professional rally drivers. A city centre hotel was definitely not the venue needed! In the end a disused airfield on farmland was chosen and a marquee erected. It had all the power and equipment required to run a conference such as AV and PA capabilities as well as lighting, kitchens and heat. 

The event ran for two days with Mono Consultants able to demonstrate their capabilities first hand to clients who would otherwise never get the opportunity to witness the services they pay for given the remoteness of the work carried out on their behalf. Nearly all clients took the opportunity to feel and see first hand what it is like to be sitting next to a rally driver as they demonstrate what these cars can do in the hands of a professional. Suffice to say, when they had regained the power of speech, all were happy to praise the drivers’ skills behind the wheel!
